This sounds great to most women and the DVD has been a top seller all over the world. So we decided we had to take a closer look at it and speak to women who have owned and used the DVD for the full 30 days to find out their honest feedback on it!

The workout involves the muscle confusion principle which ensures you never reach a plateau and will help tone your body alongside losing weight at the same time. You do exercises for 30 minutes over a 30 day period and you will see the results. This is obviously great as most people who have the busiest life styles can find 30 minutes a day to do these exercises. There is toning, aerobics and abs work all included so your whole body gets a good work out. So is the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred DVD any good?
Fay from Manhattan said she was really pleased with the product. She said there was noticeable results and she only did it for 20 minutes a day due to time restrictions. She commented that it was a very hard work out to do which is obviously to be expected if you want to shed the pounds.
Monica from Washington said she has owned a lot of workout DVDs in the past and this one was the best yet and actually worked! She says the work outs are extremely tough but since there only 20-30 minutes long it’s psychologically easier to power through them as opposed to having to endure a full hours workout.
Claire from Wisconsin was also extremely impressed. She said it was very challenging but fun and obviously effective at the same time. She was also very impressed with Jillian Michaels herself saying she helps you to power through it and is quite inspiring. Claire said she now feels healthier and has more energy then before as a result.
Lizzy is a single mother who has had two children and she says she was inspired to try the DVD after putting on a serious amount of weight and having a lot of belly fat. She had lost all motivation to go to the gym as most time was spent looking after the children. Therefore a workout DVD was a good idea for her. She was really happy with it, she said she has gone down 2 dress sizes within 2 months of doing the workout.
Jean is a big Jillian Michaels fan and has a lot of the previous Jillian Michaels DVDs and she was very happy with this edition. She did say a lot of the exercises were repeated from the previous DVDs however this isn’t an issue since most people will only be buying this DVD for the first time. Even at that there is plenty of new exercises to get through.
Tina, Brooklyn bought the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred since she has no time to go to the gym and has realised the only way she will get fit is via a work out DVD. She said she bought 10 different work out DVDs which all seemed to work ok, however the one single Jillian Michaels one has surpassed them all. She commented it’s a very tough workout as she is actually an intermediate herself having been part of a gym till recently. However, she tried level 3 firstly before realising it was best to start from level 1!

So quite a mixed bunch but a small sample size to look at. It must be noted that a few of the people who took longer to lose their weight also didn’t adjust their diet and carried on eating pizzas, cookies and other bad things. If you’re serious about losing weight you need to adjust your diet to fit it otherwise you will get nowhere. This also means no alcohol as that is one of the things which carries most calories.
So it appears that on the looks of things we can fully recommend Jillian Michaels 30 day shred as it definitely seems to work from all the positive feedback we have received. The only negative comments we got were about it being quite a repetitive workout but those people clearly don’t exercise often as most exercises involve a lot of repeating the same stuff!

I just tried this workout today and I will say I absolutely loved it. I usually don't like the old school type moves, but it works for her. And she is very inspirational. Would recommend this to anyone!
30 day shred is definitly a valuable workout dvd for people to own. It is quick and effective. I am re-visiting it once again!

I actually just bought this one a few weeks ago and I love it. The exercises are basic moves but really tough. I am dripping with sweat by the end and I exercise a lot.
